PARTS OF SENTENCE
A sentence can be divided into two parts
1. Subject
2. Predicate
1. Subject- A subject of a sentence is a noun or a pronoun that does an action or about which something is said.
किसी वाक्य का Subject कोई Noun या Pronoun होता है जो किसी काम को करता है जिसके बारे में कुछ कहा जाता हो।
Note:- किसी वाक्य में "Subject" का पता लगाने के लिए दिए हुए वाक्य Sentence में कौन "Who" या कभी कभी क्या "What" से Question करते है जो जबाब मिलता है वह Subject होता है।
Ex. Ram sings a song in the bathroom.
Kites fly in the sky.
They have been to America many times before.
ध्यान दे:- ऊपर दिए Example के पहले Sentence में यदि "Who" से Question "Who sings in the bathroom?"करने पर जबाब (Answer) "Ram" मिलता है। अतः Ram पहले Sentence का Subject है।
इसी तरह दूसरे वाक्य में What flies in the sky? से Question करने पर जबाब मिलता है Kites अतः Kites उस Sentence का Subject है।
2. Predicate- A predicate of a sentence describe what a subject does or what is said about the subject.
Or
Except subject what is left in right side of the sentence is called Predicate.
Predicate किसी वाक्य का वह भाग होता है जिसमे यह बतलाया जाता है की Subject क्या करता है या Subject के बारे में क्या कहा जाता है।
या
Subject के अलावे बचे हुए भाग को Predicate कहा जाता है।
Ex. Ram sings a song in the bathroom.Kites fly in the sky.
They have been to America many times before.
She is one of the most intelligent girl in my school.
ध्यान दे:- जो भाग Bold और Underline है Predicate कहलाता है।
PREDICATE CONSISTS OF THREE THINGS
1. VERB
2. OBJECT/COMPLEMENT
3. OTHERS WORDS
