1. DETENTION: To take someone in custody (नजरबन्द, हिरासत)
The accused was taken in detention by the police authority.
2. ALLEGED: An indictment without proof, so called (तथाकथित)

3. ACCUSED: A person charged with or on a trial for a crime (अभियुक्त/आरोपी)

11. TRIAL: Formal examination of evidence before the jury

12. AGGRIEVED: feeling resentment at the unfair treatment (व्यथित, पीड़ित)

19. ENGENDERING: Cause or give rise to (उत्पन्न करना)

20. ADMONITION: Warning (चेतावनी)

21. BURGEONING: Very fast and rapid increase (बहुत तेजी से बढ़ना)
The prices of pulses have been burgeoning for the last six months.
22. RHETORIC: The art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a rhetoric person.
23. COINCIDES: Occurring of events at the same time (संयोग)
This is mere coincidence that his birthday, marriage anniversary and his wife’s birthday are on the same date.
24. ANNIVERSARY: The date on which an event took place in a year.
He celebrated his 25th marriage anniversary on January 1, 2016.
25. CONSTRUE: To draw a meaning (अर्थ निकलना)


       His words could hardly be construed as apology.
